Student's understanding of practicum objectives: Occasionally Insufficient (3 Points)
(8) Comments:
The objective of the practicum project was clarified and I have discussed my expectations with Marieka on turning in "drafts" that are more complete, particularly in formatting and spelling so that actual verbiage content can be easily added.  Marieka is learning that, in the workplace, it is better to ask questions in order to keep from redoing work.  An example of this would be when I sent her a document that she couldn't open, she continued to rework an old one.  If she had only said that she couldn't open the document she would have saved time and herself from redoing work I had already completed.
Student's level of dependability to date: Almost Always Dependable (3 points)

Would you be willing to host this practicum student for an additional semester? Note: This information will not be shared with the student. No
(10) Comments:
My choice in this might be different if Marieka is able to do at least part of the practicum in the morning rather than the afternoon which is a difficult time for staff, who are running an "after" school program for youth, to engage a student who requires more direction.
As compared to other interns and practicum students that you have hosted in the past (from any institution), how would you rate the professional performance of your current practicum student? 3. Average

Marieka is working on a project that is important and will be beneficial to both staff and tenants as we try to gage what is working with our own program as well as what it takes for parents who recieve housing assistance to become engaged in the activities and education of their children.  I hope that Marieka is getting a "workplace" experience that will be helpful to her in the future after she graduates.
